Conditions of Carriage

  1. All tickets are personal and non-transferable.
  2. Solely the passenger is  responsible of gathering all information regarding air travel and fulfilling all travel requirements as stated by any National Authority and shall therefore show outbound, inbound or transit  documentation, visas and others as indicated by  the destination migration authorities. The air carrier will not be responsible of delays or boarding denials derived from not fulfilling any of the requirements stated previously. The air carrier will deny the boarding to all passengers who do not show all required travel documentation or those whose identities do not match the information in boarding passes or air tickets and will not be liable for these actions.
  3. If the passenger does not physically contact the air carrier at the airport at least 60 minutes before the scheduled flight time, the reservation could be used by another passenger, without responsibility of the air carrier.
  4. Peruvian Air Line will allow the trip of unaccompanied passengers majors of 6 and minors of 18 years old in limited quantity per flight, for which the parents or guardians must request the inclusion of the condition " Unaccompanied Minor (UMNR) " in the reservation calling our Call-Center 51-1-716-6000 or going personally to one of our ticket office; never through our web site. The condition UMNR must be confirmed in the reservation record. The unaccompanied minor aged major of 15 and minor of 18 years old is assigned the category of "Young People (YP)" .
    A charge of USD12.00 plus taxes applies per flight for the journey of the unaccompanied minor major than 6 and minor of 15 years old.
  5. The airline is committed to the usual diligent service. The arrival and departure times are not guaranteed and are subject of change according to the air carrier’s criteria. The air carrier will not be liable of delays and losses derived from these changes when changes are a result of external factors.
  6. Passengers with international connecting flights must consider the minimum required connecting time of 3 HOURS for domestic-to-international outbound flights.
  7. The following will not be allowed on board and will not be transported:
    • Individuals under the effect of alcohol or any kind of drugs or toxic substances.
    • Individuals whose general physical condition or health condition is not compatible with air transport.
    • Guns, ammunition, explosives, flammable substances or any object that may pose a threat or danger to passengers or cargo.
    • People carrying any of the above listed.
    • Objects that cause discomfort or due to its size, weight or other characteristics are subject to the denial of transportation in any of the airline aircrafts. In that circumstance, the Airline will refund the amount paid for the ticket less the communication and administration expenses derived from the reservation and cancellation of the ticket purchased, these will be deducted from the amount paid for the ticket.
  8. All complaints regarding baggage must be presented and registered prior to leaving the airport facilities. Insurance amounts are expressed in local currency. The amount of losses and  liaison are limited to those supported by the insurance company.
  9. The airline will not take responsibility for risks taken by the passenger as a result of the journey, provided situations in which proved negligence in the handling of passengers has been committed by the airline.
  10. The airline is not responsible of the health or physical condition of passengers traveling on board its aircrafts, and is not responsible of accidents or traumas as a result of these health and physical conditions.
  11. If the airline crew members consider that a passenger has to be disembarked in a location after the flight has departed, the airline will refund only the unused segment of the air ticket considering the destination indicated in the itinerary.
  12. If the airline cancels all flights and denies the admission of any passengers, passengers will be compensated according to the aeronautical Law and its internal procedure, except in those situations beyond its responsibility.
  13. Each passenger has the right to carry the amount in kilos of baggage as indicated in the permanent list of fares and according to the fare paid. In case of exceeding the allowed bag weight, the baggage will be transported only if the aircraft capacity allows and the passenger will be charged an amount per kilogram of baggage excess. Your bag has been designed to protect its contents therefore PERUVIAN won´t be made liable of minor damages to the bag such as scratches, stains, dents, cuts or others to the external part of it since they are a natural result of handling.
  14. PERUVIAN will not be responsible of damages to external accessories or parts such as wheels, handles, belts, slings, or any other objects attached to luggage. Will also NOT take responsibility of damages caused by over packing or for packing contents beyond the bag’s normal capacity or to damages to fragile or valuable goods such as electronic devices, portable computers, cellphones, digital cameras, money, jewelry within luggage.
  15. No passenger shall pack in the luggage valuable goods (money, jewelry, costly articles, etc.), and/or fragile or susceptible of damage merchandise or property. They are not covered by insurance companies in case of loss, damage or pilferage.
  16. The parts involved in this contract, in all matters regarding the air carrier liability and others issued in regards of this contract, subject to Peruvian law and specifically air transport law N°27261, literally subject themselves to the jurisdiction of Peruvian court houses.
  17. This air ticket has a validity of one year from the date of issue, unless a different validity is expressed in the airline fare regulation or the regulation conditions. Each fare is subject to conditions and restrictions. The air fare in this contract is subject to modification prior to the beginning of the trip and PERUVIAN can deny boarding if the airfare has not been paid. Restrictions for each reservation class are expressed in the air carrier fare regulations, manuals and applicable rules.

ALLOWED BAGGAGE

Each passenger, excluding infants, are allowed to carry two pieces of baggage weighing up to 23 kilos in total max. Also, 8kg hand luggage allowed on all sections except on the Cusco-Lima, where the maximum baggage is 5 kg, this baggage must not exceed the following measures: 40cm x 32cm x 20cm.
Is considered BAGGAGE as any item of property of the passenger to their clothing or personal use during the journey. OTHER OBJECTS SHOULD BILLED.

In addition to the free baggage allowance, the following objects can be transported free of charge as long as there is space available.

Transportation of pet in cargo compartment (AVIH)

Peruvian Airlines will not accept breeds of dogs/cats and mixed breeds listed below might have breathing problems :

DANGEROUS GOODS

The following cannot be transported or admitted on board, without prior authorization and consent from the air carrier:

  • Pressurized gasses (flammable, non-flammable and poisonous).
  • Corrosives solid or liquid like acids, dyes, chemical substances, mercury and liquid electrolyte batteries, etc.
  • Explosives such as ammunition, fireworks, flares, booby trap briefcases, fulminant for toy guns any other easily flammable substance.
  • Flammable liquids and solids such as fuel, alcohol, paint, solvents, matches, recharge cylinders for lighters.
  • Oxidizing materials.
  • Poisons.
  • Radioactive materials.
  • Others, such as mercury. Magnetic materials or irritating substances.
